💋BEAUTY REVIEW SUMMER ’19💋

Hello my lovely readers 🙂 How’s everything going?

In the past few months I’ve been collecting many beauty products and I’d love to review them for you. I’ve tried them for a long time so I could give you the best opinion. Most of these products are drugstore so you can easily purchase them if you like them.  I’ve bough all this products with my own money, so my opinions are 100% honest. I’m also going to upload all the swatches on my Instagram stories.

CHRISTMAS MAKE UP AND PLAYLIST

Hello my lovely readers 🙂 How’s everything going?

As most of you already know I love Christmas and everything related with it, so today I would like to share with you two Christmas themed things:

The first one it’s a YouTube playlist that I’ve created with all my favourite Christmas songs. To be honest I created it on the middle of November, and I’ve been listing it no stop (I’m currently listen it while I’m writing this post). So if you want to hear it click here.

The second thing I want to share with you it’s a Christmas make up tutorial explained step by step, let’s start

First step: Skin

I started by getting my skin ready for make up applying my Nivea moisturising for mixed skin. My lips usually get very dry on Winter that’s why I applied the Avene Cold Cream on my lips. It’s a very moisturising product and it works better that any lip balm that I’ve used before.

I applied my the Bourjois 123 perfect CC cream in the colour light beige all over my face. This CC cream really helps to hide my redness and imperfections without being too heavy. Since I still had some imperfections that haven’t been covered I used a bit of my Deliplus concealer. I also used my Deliplus highlighter to highlight some areas like my under eyes, the cupids bow and the centre of my nose.

Then with the Savvy mineral baked bronzer in the colour radiance I contoured my face applying it on my jaw line, right under my cheeks, on my the top of my front and temples. On my apple cheeks I used this beautiful light pink blush .

Second step: Eyeshadows

For me eyeshadows I used the Diamant 01 eyeshadow from Lancome and the Essence Quattro eyeshadow in the number 01 xoxo. I decided to use sliver and white glittery colours because it reminds me of sparkling snow.

First I applied the Lancome eyeshadow, which has a beautiful silver colour, all over the eyelid and the eye crease.

Then from the Essence palette I used the lighter sliver eyeshadow and I applied it in on the centre of the eyelid. I also applied it beneath my lower lashes only on the nearest part to the tear dot. Finally I applied some white next to the tear dot.

Third step: Eyeliner and Mascara

For my eyeliner I used the Essence waterproof eyeliner pen. This is the way I create the cat eye effect: First I draw a very thin line on my top lashes , I do a flick the side of my eye, pointing towards the end of my eyebrow, and I join it with the previous line.

Finally I applied two coats of mascara on my top and bottom lashes. I used the Yves Rocher sexy pulp mascaraI really like the thick brush of this mascara.

Last step: Red Lips

For my lips I decided to wear the classic red lipstick, because nothing screams Christmas as red lip. Since it’s quite a dark colour I decided to apply it with the small brush you see in the picture.

And this is the final result

I hope you liked this look and if you try it at home you can share you results with me through instagram or twitter, I’d love to see them. Anyway you should always remember that there isn’t a better make up look than you own smile, so try to wear it most of the time.

What is you favourite Christmas make up look? Do you have any make up trick?

Autumn favorites

Hello my lovely readers 🙂 How’s everything going?

Today I want to share with you the beauty products that I’ve been loving this Autumn.  Most of them are drug store products so they are super affordable, just in case you want to buy any of them. I’d love if you could share with me some of you favourite products in the comments, so I can give them a go.

Essence nail polish in the colour “Do you speak love? “

image

I really like burgundy so Autumn is the perfect excuse to wear it all the time, even in my nails. I love this nails polish because it dries quickly plus it has a wide flat brush, so you paint your nails quicker. I think the price of this nail polish it’s around 2€.

Sephora Rouge Shine lip stick in the number 44.

Again another burgundy product,  but this lipstick has a bit more of a plummy undertone. I’ve been using this lipstick on an everyday basis, because it’s super moisturising. I know it looks super dark but after an hour it looks much more natural.  I believe this lipstick is the one that suits me better.

Urban Decay eyeshadow in the colour chopper

I really like the coppery gold colour of this eyeshadow and the beautiful glitter it has.  Even though dark colour eyeshadows don’t tend to suit me, I really like this colour because of it’s shine.  I also think this colour it’s quite autumnal.

Aussie frizz miracle had conditioner.

I just can’t tell you how much I’ve been loving this product. After the Summer my hair wasn’t feeling as smooth as usual so I decided to give this hair conditioner a go and my hair has improved a lot. I really like how soft my hair feels after I use this product, plus it smells beyond amazing.

Garnier pure active gel

I’ve been using this gel in the morning to wash my face and remove all the extra oil from my skin. This product is made for oily or mixed skin like mine. It also has a fresh citric smell that really helps me to wake up in the morning.

Essence Hello Autumn eyebrow set.

image

Even though this is an eyebrow set I’ve been loving to use it as an eyeshadow (I’m such a rebel). I really like it because the eyeshadows don’t have any shine at all, so they are perfect for a natural make up look. I like to wear that on the eye crease because they blend very nicely.

Cien hand cream

image

My hands tend to get really dry on the winter so I always carry with me a hand cream. I’m currently loving this hand cream because it’s very moisturising and it smells like cherries. I also like it’s small packing which makes it’s perfect to carry around in your bag or backpack.

Primark ginger spice candle.

image

I know this product is not beauty related but I just had to add it. I bought this candle at the beginning of the autumn and I’m still loving it. It literally smells like ginger spiced biscuits and the scent it’s quite strong (which I personally like). I think this candle was only 3€, I think it’s very cheap considering it’s size.

What are your current favourite beauty products?

Make up travel essentials

Hello everyoneeee! 🙂 How has it been your weekend?

Today I’m very happy because I’ve just arrived from a weekend out in Zaragoza (a town on the north of Spain). Two friends of mine and me went to visit another of our friends who studies there. We had a really nice time and it was very good for me because it helped me to disconnect after the exams period. We visited the town, we had lunch in a really cool 50’s style american restaurant and we went out to a disco. Oh, I almost forgot we also went to the biggest mall in Spain, I was so excited about it, you can’t imagine how big it is and, of course, I had to buy some things…

So what I wanted to share with you is the make up that I took with me on this little trip. I’m not saying you should necessarly bring make up with you, because the best make up you can wear, is your own smile.

The most essential things that I brought and I can’t live without are my black eye liner, I’m currently using this Essence liquid eye pen and my concealer, which is from Deliplus.

Of course I brought my Bourjois CC cream as I said in my everyday make up post I love it , in fact I just bought a new one. I also brought my Mayballine Baby Lips, I’ve recently discovered it and I haven’t stopped using it since then and the Sephora Rouge Shine in the number 45, it’s a kind of blueberry lipstick and I also used it as blusher, I softly applied it on my cheeks and I blend it a lot.

Finally I took with me the Essence Hello Autum eyebrow kit, as I’m a rebel, instead of using it for the eyebrows I used it as an eye shadow because it has quite a strong packaging so it doesn’t break easily, I used the Essence eye shadow pencil to apply it. For my eye lashes I packed the Prestige black mascara.

What have you done this weekend? Which are you travel essentials?
