Hello my lovely readers 🙂 How’s everything going?

Today I want share with you a really fun and cute DIY Chrsitmas tree. I feel like Christmas it’s the perfect time to make DIYs. It’s very easy to do, so you can also make it with your kids, little brothers or sisters, little cousins… And the best thing is that you can recicle materials that I’m sure you already have around house.

CUT CREASE MAKE UP

Hello my lovely readers 🙂 Happy new year!!

I hope you I’ve had a lovely new year’s eve and that 2017 brings all your wishes and you achieve all your new year resolutions. Today I want to share with you a make up look that I wore yesterday on new year’s eve. I though it was the perfect day to try a new make up technique that’s a bit more out there than the make up I usually were. So I decided to wear a cut crease look. I’m really happy with how this look turned out and if you follow the following steps it’s not that hard.

CHRISTMAS OUTFIT

Hello my lovely readers 🙂 How’s everything going?

Today I want to share with you the outfit I wore on Christmas day. It’s a kind of funny and festive outfit, that I really love. I’m also going to share with you the hairstyle that I wore. If your want to see the make up I wore with this look CLICK HERE.

I decided to wear my leggings with gingerbread men from Primark. I felt it was the perfect occasion to wear them since they are super festive (I don’t see myself wearing them in Spring). I like the fact that they are super comfortable and very thick so it kept my legs really worm.

image

Since I wanted it to be a festive outfit I thought I had to add some red to de outfit. I I decided to wear this red oversize jacket that my grandmother sew year ago. I believe the red from the ribbon, lips, jacket and trousers make the look come together. For my feet I decided to wear this black leather boots that are super comfortable.

Now I’m going to share with you the hair style that I wore that it’s super simple to recreate and I think it looks very cute. All you need is a hair donut, two hair bands, some bobby pins and a red ribbon.

image

First you just need to make a ponytail. I like to make them quite high so the the bun can be seen if someone look at me from the front.

image

Then all you need to put is the donut inside of the ponytail, wrap the hair around the donut and fix it with a hair band. If there are any rebellious hairs that stand out just put them in with some bobby pins.

image

Finally just tie the red ribbon around the band, hiding the hair band and make a cute little ribbon in the front.

I hope you all has a lovely Christmas evening and day with your family and I hope you have a happy new year 🙂

Don’t forget to check my CHRISTMAS PLAYLIST, it’s a YouTube playlist that I’ve created with all my favourite Christmas songs.

What is you favourite Christmas look? Did you do anything special this Christmas?

CHRISTMAS MAKE UP AND PLAYLIST

Hello my lovely readers 🙂 How’s everything going?

As most of you already know I love Christmas and everything related with it, so today I would like to share with you two Christmas themed things:

The first one it’s a YouTube playlist that I’ve created with all my favourite Christmas songs. To be honest I created it on the middle of November, and I’ve been listing it no stop (I’m currently listen it while I’m writing this post). So if you want to hear it click here.

The second thing I want to share with you it’s a Christmas make up tutorial explained step by step, let’s start

First step: Skin

I started by getting my skin ready for make up applying my Nivea moisturising for mixed skin. My lips usually get very dry on Winter that’s why I applied the Avene Cold Cream on my lips. It’s a very moisturising product and it works better that any lip balm that I’ve used before.

I applied my the Bourjois 123 perfect CC cream in the colour light beige all over my face. This CC cream really helps to hide my redness and imperfections without being too heavy. Since I still had some imperfections that haven’t been covered I used a bit of my Deliplus concealer. I also used my Deliplus highlighter to highlight some areas like my under eyes, the cupids bow and the centre of my nose.

Then with the Savvy mineral baked bronzer in the colour radiance I contoured my face applying it on my jaw line, right under my cheeks, on my the top of my front and temples. On my apple cheeks I used this beautiful light pink blush .

Second step: Eyeshadows

For me eyeshadows I used the Diamant 01 eyeshadow from Lancome and the Essence Quattro eyeshadow in the number 01 xoxo. I decided to use sliver and white glittery colours because it reminds me of sparkling snow.

First I applied the Lancome eyeshadow, which has a beautiful silver colour, all over the eyelid and the eye crease.

Then from the Essence palette I used the lighter sliver eyeshadow and I applied it in on the centre of the eyelid. I also applied it beneath my lower lashes only on the nearest part to the tear dot. Finally I applied some white next to the tear dot.

Third step: Eyeliner and Mascara

For my eyeliner I used the Essence waterproof eyeliner pen. This is the way I create the cat eye effect: First I draw a very thin line on my top lashes , I do a flick the side of my eye, pointing towards the end of my eyebrow, and I join it with the previous line.

Finally I applied two coats of mascara on my top and bottom lashes. I used the Yves Rocher sexy pulp mascaraI really like the thick brush of this mascara.

Last step: Red Lips

For my lips I decided to wear the classic red lipstick, because nothing screams Christmas as red lip. Since it’s quite a dark colour I decided to apply it with the small brush you see in the picture.

And this is the final result

I hope you liked this look and if you try it at home you can share you results with me through instagram or twitter, I’d love to see them. Anyway you should always remember that there isn’t a better make up look than you own smile, so try to wear it most of the time.

What is you favourite Christmas make up look? Do you have any make up trick?

DIY gift ideas

Last Sunday it was my mum’s birthday and as usual I waited for the last minute to buy her a present. So on Saturday I decided I would go to a clothes store and buy her a nice piece of clothing. I started to look around some shop’s web pages, when I realised anyone could give her that as I present and I wanted to do something special, that she could only get from me. That’s when I come up with these two easy cheap but beautiful ideas. Since Christmas is in four days this may also helpful for the last minute buyers (I add myself in this group).

The memory jar

All you need is an old jar, some permanent sharpies and some paper.

I couldn’t find a beautiful jar around my house so I decided to make it myself. I found a jar of cream and I removed the labels. If they don’t come out easily you can put it in hot water so it’s easier to remove.

image

Then on one side of the jar I wrote our memories with my best calligraphy. And on the other side it’s where you get a bit more creative, you can draw something related to that person favourite things. I know my mum is all about the hippie days so that’s why I decided to draw a very colourful flower.

Then you cut you paper in small pieces where you write your favourites memories together it can either be happy memories, emotional memories, travel memories… You’ll find yourself very happy as trying to recall all these special moments that you and the other person have shared together.

Finally just put them in the jar. I decided to also add some coloured sprinkles and put some of my perfume, so if I ever go away and my mum feels a bit lonely she can always read those beautiful memories and smell my scent.

Recreating an old picture

This is an idea I saw in modern family (one of my favourite shows) and I thought it was very funny and nice. So basically all you need to do is take a picture from when you where younger and try to recreate it.

For my it was quite easy because I still live in the same house and I could find my mum’s old dresses. The only struggle was taking the picture because I had nobody to help me and I didn’t have any tripod, so it took me a while to find a good angle. So this is the result (it’s not very good, but she liked it anyway):

Are you planning about making any DIY as a gift this Christmas? Because I’ll love to get new ideas for future years.
