πŸ’„ BEAUTY REVIEW SPRING’20 πŸ’„

Hello my lovely readers πŸ™‚ How’s everything going?

Today I want to share with you my review of different products that I’ve been buying over the past few months. I’ve uploaded some swatches on my Instagram stories, if you’re interested in any of this products.

In the picture you can see many Too Faced products, which tends to be a less affordable brand. I have them because when I lived in England I went to TK Γ§Maxx, which is a store filled with products that for whatever reason have not been sold in the normal store and they take them there for a really good price. And I found this amazing 5 piece set for only 8 pounds. So I’d really recommend it if you go to Ireland or the UK.

Too Faced – Chocolate soleil bronzer in medium/deep

I absolutely love this bronzer, it blends like a dream, it’s matt and it has the perfect colour. Even dough I have a light skin tone, this bronzer looks very good on me because it has a perfect color where it’s not too warm neither too cold, you just look sun-kissed. Plus it smells amazing, like chocolate.

Too Faced – Better than sex mascara

What I love about this mascara is that when you apply it the lashes look longer and separated, it doesn’t clamp them together. But at the same time if you want a mascara that gives a lot of volume maybe this is not the one. Also I feel like when time passes it flakes a little bit on the undereye area.

Too Faced – Melted matte liquid lipstick

The things that I love about this product is that it’s super pigmented, with one swipe the lip is completely covered; it lasts for a really long time and it makes your lips look huge because you can overline them without using a lip liner. But what I don’t like about it is that it’s quite drying on the lips.

Too Faced – Hangover primer

I love using this primer in Winter. It’s a lightweight primer that really moisturises your skin without making it oily. I also love the smell of this product.

Too Faced – Mascara melt off

This product is really good for removing your mascara without irritating the eyes at all. When I was in England I didn’t have my usual makeup remover so it was really hard to take off mascara, but this product saved me.

Essence – Shine shine shine clear gloss

I love this lip gloss!! It’s the most glossy and shiny lip gloss that I own, it honestly makes your lips look incredible, it smells really nice and it’s price it’s only 2,50€. But if you really hate sticky lip gloss you probably won’t like this one.

Technic – Colour fix powder

I like this powder because it’s quite finely- milled and when you put it on with the beauty blender it gives your skin a poreless effect. I also love that it has colour so it doesn’t have as much flashback as other powders, and it comes in 6 different shades. But what I don’t like about this powder is that it has some small shimmery particles on it, they are few and barely noticeable, but it’d have been better without them. The price of this powder is only 3€.

Quibest – Liquid glitter eyeshadow

I have left the worst for last. I bought this thinking it’d be a dupe for the Stila liquid eyeshadow and I hate it. It only has glitter, it doesn’t have any base colour and it doesn’t apply evenly at all. In order to use it I need to use another shadow beneath and apply it extremely carefully with little touches using my fingers. And you have to be very careful because you can lift the eyeshadow from beneath. If you want a good Stila dupe, here is the link of a really good one.

Have you found any holygrail makeup product recently? Have you ever shopped at TKMaxx?

xoxo Darly

  1. Totally agree with you about the Too Faced Hangover Primer😍 feels so good on the skin and love the smell. Also, need to get on the wagon of that Essence gloss because I know so many people that have this as their go to❀️
