Hello my lovely readers 🙂 How’s everything going?
Today I want to share with you a colourful but wearable eye makeup look, which main colour is yellow. All of the products I use on this tutorial are from the drugstore, so they are very affordable if you want to recreate it.
The first thing I did to create this look is to apply concealer all over the eyelid, to use it as eye primer. For this look I used the second yellow from the Makeup Revolution Marvellous Mattes palette. I honestly wouldn’t recommend this palette because some colours are pigmented but others are horrible.
Then I applied the yellow all over the eyelid without caring to much, just building up the colour. As you can see this colour has a lot of fallout and I had to put many layers in order to be pigmented.
Then too make it more wearable, I decided to use brown on the crease and underneath my eyes. If you put a pop of colour on the crease but then you blend it with a nude colour on the crease it makes it much more colourful. So I used the colour Fairy Tale from the W7 Romanced palette (I’d highly recommend this palette) and placed it on the crease and underneath my eyes. Then to darken up the outer V of the eye, I used the shade Romeo. I felt like the look was lacking of dimension so I decided to put the gold shimmer shade Amour over the yellow.
Finally I made my signature winged eyeliner, I used the one from Deliplus. The way I like to do it is: I do a flick on the side of my eye, pointing towards the end of my eyebrow, and I join it with with my lashes at the centre of the eye. On my lashes I used the Too Faced Better than Sex mascara.
For my lips, since I already had a popo of colour on my eyes I decided to go for a nude hombreé lip, I used the Primark lip liner in the shade toffee to overline my lips and then I used the Cien light pink lip balm on the centre of the lip and a clear lip gloss. This makes the lips look fuller and gives more dimension to them.
What’s your favourite eyelid colour? Do you prefer neutral or pop coloured eyeshadows?
