Hello my lovely readers 🙂 How’s everything going?
As I told you in my previous blog post, I’m spending the Summer in London. So today I want to share with you some places I’ve never visited before in London but I’ve really loved.
Nesden Temple
I’ve never heard about this temple before, until recently, a colleague recommended it. This beautiful temple a masterpiece of traditional Hindu design built in 1995. It was hand-carved in India before being assembled in London.
I fell in love in this temple, it felt like I’ve left London and gone to India. It’s so beautiful inside and outside and the people there are so nice and welcoming. It’s free to go inside but you can’t take pictures.
It opens from 9 am to 6 pm but it’s better to go before 12 pm or after 4 pm so you can visit all the rooms of the temple. The temple is really nice, but in the area there are some posters that say “Beware of thiefs” so outside of the temple keep an eye on your belongings.
Battersea park
It’s situated on the south bank of the River Thames opposite Chelsea and was opened in 1858. It’s really relaxing to walk around the park, it has a beautiful English garden and there’s people around dancing, playing music… It’s famous for it’s peace pergola you can see in the picture below.
Little Venice
Maybe this is a more famous place, but I’ve been 5 previous times to London and I’ve never visited it before. Little Venice has beautiful canals and waterways and it can be found on the north of Paddington. It’s full with little boats where some people even live in.
Have you visited any of this places? Do you recommend me any other “hidden treasures” in London?
xoxo Darly

Interesting that there are so many cool lesser known spots in London. Is the Neasden temple a working temple or simply a monument? What is the nearest tube stop to get there?
