💖 DIY CUTE VALENTINE’S CARD 💖

Valentine’s day is right behind the corner so today I’m going to share with you a really easy and cute DIY Valentine’s card.  Valentines is a day to celebrate love in all it’s ways. So you can also gift this card to a friend or a family member, I’m sure they’ll appreciate it a lot. You can also make this fun DIY with your kids.

El día de San Valentín está justo detrás de la esquina, así que hoy voy a compartir con vosotros una manualidad de una tarjeta de San Valentín realmente sencilla y mona. San Valentín es un día para celebrar el amor en todas sus formas. Así que también puedes regalar esta tarjeta a un amigo o familiar, estoy seguro de que lo apreciarán mucho. También puedes hacer esta divertida manualidad con tus hijos.

All we are going to need is some ribbon. I already had this red one around the house, but anyone will work. You also need a card board and you need to cut it in a rectangular shape where one of the sides is the double of the other one. For example mine was 15×30 cm. Finally you also need universal glue.

Todo lo que vamos a necesitar es un poco de cinta. Ya tenía esta roja en casa, pero cualquiera sirve. También necesitas una cartulina y debes cortarla en una forma rectangular donde uno de los lados es el doble del otro. Por ejemplo la mía era de 15×30 cm. Finalmente, también necesitas pegamento universal.

First start by folding two flaps which are half of the size of the smaller side. In my case since my card is going to be 15×15 cm the flaps where 7,5 cm wide. Then cut two pieces of ribbon of the size of the smaller side and stick them to the edge of the flaps with the universal glue.

Primero comience doblando dos solapas que son la mitad del tamaño del lado más pequeño. En mi caso ya que mi tarjeta va a ser de 15×15 cm de las solapas tienen 7,5 cm de ancho. Luego corte dos trozos de cinta del tamaño del lado más pequeño y péguelas en el borde de cada una de las solapas con el pegamento universal.

Then taking a big piece of ribbon measure the centre of the card and stick it as you can see in the picture below. You must leave a lot of extra ribbon so you can tie it together.

Luego, tomando un pedazo grande de cinta, mida el centro de la tarjeta y péguela como puede ver en la imagen de abajo. Debes dejar mucha cinta adicional para poder atarlo.

Finally make a bow with the extra ribbon. That way when you open the card is like opening a small present.

Finalmente haga un lazo con la cinta adicional. De esa manera, cuando abres la tarjeta es como abrir un pequeño regalo.
