❄️HOW TO BE STYLISH IN WINTER❄️

Hello my lovely readers 🙂 How’s everything going?

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas Eve and Day. In Winter I find quite difficult to wear a stylish outfit that really keeps me warm at the same time. So on today’s post, I’ll share with you some tips on how to look fashionable in the Winter weather and I will use today’s outfit as and example.  

Espero que hayáis tenido una maravillosa víspera y día de Navidad. En invierno me es difícil encontrar un look estiloso que me mantenga abrigada al mismo tiempo. Así que en el post de hoy, voy a compartir con vosotros algunos consejos para vestir con estilo en el clima invernal y usaré el outfit de hoy como ejemplo.

An under layer of jumper, trousers and boots in the same colours always looks really stylish an elegant. Since this first layer it’s all in the same colour it could look a bit monotonous, that’s why it’s great to mix different materials and fabrics (cotton, leather, suede, wool…)

Una capa inferior de jersey, pantalones y botas en los mismos colores siempre queda muy elegante y estilosa. Dado que esta primera capa tiene el mismo color, puede parecer un poco monótona, por eso es genial mezclar diferentes materiales y tejidos (algodón, cuero, ante, lana …)

So for this look I picked up this leather looking trousers from the brand Esmara. I think this are a key piece in every winter wardrobe because they keep you really warm and they are quite fashion forward. I decided to pair them with a black cotton turtle neck jumper from Stradivarius. Turtle neck jumpers look really elegant and I love tucking them into the trousers. As shoes I choose this suede black wedged boots from a local store. I love wedged boots because they are quite comfortable but look stylish. As you can see in this look I mixed cotton, “leather” and suede, to make the outfit less plain

Así que para este look, elegí este pantalón de cuero de la marca Esmara . Creo que esta es una pieza clave en todos los armarios de invierno porque te mantienen muy abrigado y están de moda. Decidí combinarlos con un jersey de cuello alto negro de algodón de Stradivarius . Los jerséis con cuello de tortuga son muy elegantes y me encanta meterlos por dentro de los pantalones. Como zapatos, elegí estas botas negras de ante con cuña, compradas en una tienda local. Me encantan las botas con cuña porque son bastante cómodas pero quedan elegantes. Como puedes ver, en este look mezclé algodón, “cuero” y ante, para hacer que el look sea menos aburrido.

A faux fur coat always adds style to a look and keeps you really warm at the same time. In this case, in order to break from all the black of the under layer I picked up this bone white faux fur coat from my mum.

Un abrigo de piel sintética siempre añade estilo al look y te mantiene abrigado al mismo tiempo. En este caso, para romper con el negro de la capa inferior, escogí este abrigo de piel sintética blanco de mi madre.

Accessorising is one of the things you need to do in Winter in order to keep you warm, but it also helps you to make the look more interesting. You can play with different hats, scarfs and gloves. In this case, since I was already wearing a turtle neck, I just used a white wool hat to continue with the colour coordination.

El accesorio es una de las mejores cosas que debes hacer en invierno para mantenerte abrigado, pero a la vez te ayuda a hacer que el outfit sea más interesante. Puedes jugar con diferentes gorros, bufandas y guantes. En este caso, como ya llevaba un cuello de tortuga, solo usé un gorro de lana blanca para continuar con la coordinación del color.

I also decided to wear a black Hermes looking bag, that was from my grandmother. Structured bags always look more elegant than slouchy ones. I wore some black big sun glasses, I don’t know why but black big sun glasses usually make you look more elegant. And finally I wore some golden jewellery. Wearing the golden necklace helps me to break the colorblock black look.

También decidí usar un bolso negro con apariencia de Hermes, que era de mi abuela. Los bolsos estructurados siempre quedan más elegantes que los que no tienen forma. Usé unas gafas de sol grandes y negras, no sé por qué, pero las gafas de sol grandes y negras generalmente quedan elegantes. Y finalmente me puse unas joyas de oro. El collar dorado me ayuda a romper el look del colorblock negro.
