VISIBLE BOBBY PIN TREND DIY

Hello my lovely readers 🙂 Long time no see, how’re you doing?

Yesterday I finally took my exam and I was really looking forward to write another blog post. Today I wanted to make a post about one of the things that I really enjoy, but I haven’t had time to do in the past weeks, a DIY. This is a really simple DIY, but I think the result is really cute.

I don’t know if you are aware but lately there’s a “visible bobby pin” trend going on. I really like this trend with fancy bobby pins so I was looking online to buy some golden ones when I came to the conclusion that I could totally make them myself.

All you need for this DIY is:

  • Some bobby pins, it’s better if you use the ones for blonde hair, but all work.
  • Some cute stickers. I decided to used the same ones that I used for the Dolce and Gabbanna headband.
  • Some gold nailpolish or paint
  • Some superglue

  • Superglue

The first thing you have to do is to paint the top part of the bobby pin with the gold nail polish. I actually gave them two coats so it was more shiny.

Then, once they are dry, all you have yo do, is glue the stickers to the end of the bobby pin with the superglue.

And voilá, you have your fancy bobby pins.        Y voilá, tienes tus horquillas elegantes.

What do you think of the visible bobby pin trend? Have you recently done any DIY?

¿Has hecho algún DIY recientemente?

xoxo Darly

  1. Hey, just one blogger looking out for another, my dear you have a typo in your title, I think it’s supposed to be Bobby-pin not Booby pin 🙂
