Hello my lovely readers 🙂 Merry Christmas everyone!!
Today I want to share a get ready with me New Year’s Eve edition. I’m going to share with you the make up I’m planning to wear and a really nice outfit option.
First step: Skin
I applied the Max Factor Lasting Performance foundation in the colour 105 soft beige, all over my face with a beauty blender. I usually wear a CC cream, but since I’m going to go out on new year’s eve, I want more coverage. To highlight and conceal I used the CATRICE Liquid Camouflage concealer in the colour 005 Light Natural. I applied it under the eyes, under the cheek bone and in the centre of the forehead and the chin.
To highlight, bronce and blush I used the KIKO face palette. I applied the bronzer on my jaw line, right under my cheeks, on the top of my front and on my temples. I used the blusher on my apple cheeks and the highlighter on the highest point of my cheeks. Finally I sprayed some avene water to help the make up look more dewy and last longer.
Second step: Eyes
For my eyeshadow the first thing I did, was to put concealer all over the eyelid as an eye primer. This will make the eyeshadow last longer and look more intense. Then I used the golden highlight from the face palette and I put it all over the eye lid ,using the flat part of a brush. Then I used the bronzer and I applied it on the crease and on the outer part of the eye. It’s really important to blend it using a brush like the one in the picture. Then to lighten up the inner corner I used some shimmery cream eyeshadow.
Then I made a winged eyeliner, which it’s a must for this look. The way I like to do it, is this: First I draw a very thin line on my top lashes, using the Deliplus liquid eyeliner, I do a flick the side of my eye, pointing towards the end of my eyebrow, and I join it with the previous line. I also used the white Esence kajal pencil on my water line in order to make my eyes look bigger. On my lashes I used the Loreal sculpt mascara, this mascara will make you lashes look huge and separated.
Third step: Lips
For my lips I used the Sleek Matte Me liquid lipstick in the colour Rioja red, which I’ve to say it’s not my favourite liquid lipstick. To kind of give it a golden effect I put the Burt’s Bees lip gloss in the colour Autumn Haze.
And this is the final result. I hope you liked this look and if you try it you can share your results with me through instagram, twitter or facebook, I’d love to see them. Anyway, you should always remember that there isn’t a better make up look than you own smile, so try to wear it most of the time.
Last step: Outfit
I’m also going to share with you the outfit I wore last year. Instead of wearing a dress (as I have done all the previous years) I decided to wear my shorts with golden sequins and black t-shirt with some shiny stones next to the neck. Both of them are from Stradivarious. I love the the way the sparkles in the t-shirt match with the sparkles from the shorts without being too much, I think these add a more festive/parting look to the outfit.
Finally I wore black thermic tights and black boots. What I also love about this look is the way the golden shorts break the total black look, usually when I go out parting in winter I wear black tights and most of my parting dresses are black so I always end up in a total black outfit.
