Hello my lovely readers 🙂 How’s everything going?

Today I want to share with you a costume, that you can easily make yourself and it’s very inexpensive.  I’ll teach you how to make the different pieces of the costume and next week I’ll show you how to do the make up. I’m posting the DIY today so you have enough time to make it for Halloween.

The only material you’ll need to make this costume is a pink and a white EVA foam sheet, a headband and some glue.

The first thing you’ll need to do is cut a strip that is 2 cm wide and it’s a bit longer than the headband. then fold it in half and glue all the edges. Once it’s dry slide the headband inside the stripe.

Then cut a strip that’s 7 cm wide and 17 cm high. Fold it on half like in the picture beneath, draw the shape of a bunny ear in one side and cut both sides at the same time. This will help to make the ear more even on both sides.

Repeat the same process with the pink Eva foam, but this time the sizes have to be 5 cm wide and 14 cm long.

Then glue the pink part over the white part making sure you leave a space in the low part of the ear. Then in that part, draw a little square, like the one in the picture beneath, and cut it. Then just fold one flap over the other, and glue them together. You can pin them with a peg so they properly glue together.

Finally just glue the ears to the head band, as before you can use some pegs to help you. Make sure you glue them one close to the other.

To make the tummy all you’ll need is to cut the pink EVA foam in the shape of an oval of about 25 cm long and 15 cm wide.

If you want to make the ribbon for the neck all you’ll need is some pink satin ribbon. First make the shape of a Ribbon then join it to another strip of fabric and tie it with a knot to your neck.

Then all you’ll need is an all white outfit. I decided to wear a white tank top and a skater skirt. But you can choose the style you prefer. If you have a pink pompom you can put in the back part of the skirt.

Have you choosen your Halloween costume? What are you planning to wear?

xoxo Darly
