I didn’t have the time to write a post to say Merry Christmas but I hope you all had a lovely evening. The Christmas spirit has entered my body so today I’m going to do a super easy and fast Christmas nail art.
The trick for cresting both of the look is using sellotape. I know that they sell other things that are made specially for this purpose but sellotape is something everybody has at home and I believe the effect is very similar.
Little Santa hats.
For doing the nail art we are just going to need one red nail polish and one white nail polish.
First you cut two pieces of sellotape which are a bit bigger than the size of your nail. You put them on your nail trying to create a triangular shape. You must be careful and really stick the edges of the selotape to your nails so when we remove the sellotape the lines of the triangle are very defined.
Now you paint that triangle you’ve created with the red nail polish, it doesn’t matter if you go out of the line because when we remove the sellotape it’s going to look perfect.
You must really make sure that the nail polish is properly dried when you remove the sellotape.
Now we add the hat details with a white nail polish.First you draw a small spot on the top of the triangle, which is going to be the pompom of the hat and you add a line at the bottom of the hat.
As a final step you put a coat of transparent nail polish so it looks nicer and it lasts longer.
Now you can paint all your nails with hats or you can just do one nail in each hand and paint the rest of the nails in red or white. It literally didn’t take me more than 10 minutes to do this.
Little Christmas trees.
For doing the nail art we are just going to need one green nail polish and one golden glitter nail polish.
As I said before first you cut two pieces of sellotape which are a bit bigger than the size of your nail. You put them on your nail trying to create a triangular shape. You must be careful and really stick the edges of the sellotape to your nails so when we remove the sellotape the lines of the triangle are very defined.
Now you paint that triangle you’ve created with the green nail polish, it doesn’t matter if you go out of the line because when we remove the sellotape it’s going to look perfect.
Once the green nail polish is properly dried you apply a coat of golden glitter nail polish.
You must really make sure that the nail polish is properly dried when you remove the sellotape.
As a final step you put a coat of transparent nail polish so it looks nicer and it lasts longer.
Now you can paint all your nails with trees or you can just do one nail in each hand and paint the rest of the nails in green. It literally didn’t take me more than 10 minutes to do this.
